This Week in Marketing: TikTok Launches Online Course and More!
TikTok has launched a new, video-aligned platform training course for users who are interested in leveraging the platform for their marketing needs. The TikTok course, also known as TikTok Tactics is designed to provide tips and insights on how to best use of the platform for brand promotion.

The new ‘TikTok Tactics’ course is an ‘easy to follow, best-practice guide to advertising on TikTok’. The course is said to provide a range of lessons on attribution, targeting, creative best practices and more. In other news…
Instagram has added a scheduled Live display option on user profiles to help improve the discovery of upcoming Live streams on the platform. As you can see by the screenshot below, Instagram provides another way to raise awareness of upcoming live broadcasts on the app. According to Instagram Chief, Adam Mosseri, creators can now create feed and Story posts about their Live. Creators will also get a badge on their profile that lets everyone know your Live is coming up and provide users with the option to subscribe to be reminded.
